With nearly two decades of experience, Mary-Anne Oke brings a wealth of knowledge to the firm's leadership. In collaboration with senior partners and consultants, MNRIC boasts over 40 years of combined expertise in a diverse range of fields, spanning from Human Resources and Sustainable Development to Spatial analysis consulting which includes utilizing technology and data to analyze, visualize, and interpret geographical and spatial information for various purposes, including mapping, urban planning, environmental assessment, and more. They often work with mapping tools, software, and geographical data to assist organizations in making informed decisions based on spatial relationships and patterns.
Operating within the European Union from its headquarters in Cork, Ireland, MNRIC offers comprehensive consulting services globally. Their mission is to empower individuals, communities, companies, and governments, nurturing sustainable development from grassroots levels upwards.

MARY-ANNE OKE
Founder and Principal Consultant
With nearly two decades of professional experience, Mary-Anne is an expert in Community Program and Advocacy Development Services, Human Resources Training and Development, and Public Relations and Marketing. She has spent over a decade as a Development Practitioner, working extensively in sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. Notably, she has contributed to projects like the Travellers of North Cork Project and the Anti-racism Awareness Organization in County Cork, Republic of Ireland.
Mary-Anne is also affiliated with International Consultants for European Union contract companies. Her work is centered on social justice and empowering vulnerable individuals towards self-reliance through enterprise and employment.
Mary-Anne excels in community-based research, including her recent focus on creating affordable childcare access for low-income earners through a Health Services department. This research, supported by government commitment and governance, has positively impacted many lives, strengthened family relations, and fulfilled the rights of vulnerable individuals within their communities.

Dr. Stephen Onakuse
Senior Consultant
Dr. Stephen Onakuse is a full-time researcher and lecturer at the University College Cork, Republic of Ireland and is a Senior Consultant with M&N Regional and International Consulting.

Steve has spent over 15 Years as a development practitioner, spending substantial periods of time in both sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. He is a Lecturer with the Department of Food Business and Development at the National University of Ireland and a Research Fellow with the Centre for Sustainable Livelihoods, National University of Ireland - Cork. He is a member of the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutes (EADI), the Network of EU Universities engaged in Tropical and Subtropical Food and Agriculture Research (NATURA).

Most of Steve’s work has focused on understanding the role of institutions in economic development and the processes of institutional change, especially under the poverty reduction strategy. His research expertise include Community-Based Organisation Development and Livelihoods Analysis, Participatory Appraisal and Community Needs, Poverty, Situation and Policy Analysis, Agricultural Development through Innovative Technology Practices, Policy Advice for Poverty Reduction Strategies, Mainstreaming HIV/AIDS and Socio-cultural Issues, Sustainable Development, and Sustainable Livelihoods in Developing Countries.

His current research activities include Household Education, Health and Gender Mainstreaming in Rural Development; Socio-economic and Community Analysis; Environment and its impact on Food Security; Stakeholder Assessment, Identification of Interest Groups; Corruption and Human Rights Issues in Development; Governance Assessment and Institutional Strengthening.
